Handmade Nature of Products

- Clay dust, sharp tools, kilns, and equipment require careful use
- Participation is voluntary
Participants agree to follow all safety instructions provided by staff.
Failure to follow safety rules may result in removal from the studio.
9. Assumption of Risk
Participation in pottery activities involves inherent risks including, but not limited to:
- Cuts or minor injuries from tools
- Burns from kilns and related equipment
- Slips or falls
- Exposure to clay dust or other materials
By participating, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with pottery activities.
10. Liability Waiver
To the fullest extent permitted by law, participants agree that Schwartz Crafted LLC, its owners, employees, and representatives are not liable for any injuries, damages, or losses arising from:
- Participation in studio activities
- Use of pottery tools or equipment
- Presence in the pottery studio
- Use of objects created in the Schwartz Crafted studio
Participants agree to release and hold harmless Schwartz Crafted LLC from any claims resulting from such participation.
11. Damage to Equipment or Studio
Participants agree to:
- Use all tools and equipment responsibly
- Follow all instructions provided by Schwartz Crafted LLC
Customers may be held financially responsible for intentional or negligent damage to equipment, tools, or property.
12. Kiln Firing and Pottery Results
Pottery created by participants and customers may be fired in a kiln.
Customers acknowledge that:
- Pottery may crack, warp, or break during firing
- Glazes may vary in final color or texture
- Results cannot be guaranteed
Schwartz Crafted LLC is not responsible for pottery damaged during the firing process.
13. Personal Property
Visitors are responsible for their own personal belongings.
Schwartz Crafted LLC is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items brought to the studio or events.
14. Photography and Media
We may photograph or record activities occurring in the studio or at events.
By participating, you grant Schwartz Crafted LLC permission to use photos or videos for:
- Marketing
- Social media
- Website content
If you do not wish to appear in media, please notify staff in advance.
15. General Conduct and Personal Expression
We strive to create a safe and comfortable environment for all participants and customers at the pottery studio. Improper conduct including, but not limited to:
- Unkind or inappropriate language
- Unkind or inappropriate actions
- The creation of unkind or inappropriate items
Will result in removal from the pottery studio or event. The judgement of what is unkind or inappropriate is at the discretion of the owner and staff of Schwartz Crafted LLC.
16. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Schwartz Crafted LLC shall not be liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of profits
- Loss of data
- Damages arising from website use or product purchases
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the product or service in question.
17. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Schwartz Crafted LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
